I think that we all realize this: stress is bad for you. This study shows that the immune system is negatively influenced by stress. Continue to try to decrease the stressors in life.....(I know: easier said than done)

The Monkeypox Virus

I know that the Covid experience has frightened all of us. However, it appears that Monkeypox will not go down the same pathway.
It is a much different type of virus and appears to spread only by contact rather than airborne transmission.

That morning coffee (with or without a bit of sugar) is actually GOOD for you

Don't feel guilty.  Your morning coffee (even with a teaspoon of sugar) is actually good for health. It is likely due to the antioxidant properties of the coffee beans.

Building muscle mass

Eating a balanced, healthy, low carbohydrate diet is all you need. A protein supplement to support muscle strength is wishful thinking.

Moderate weight training is a better idea.....(yes...it takes more effort than drinking a protein shake.._)

Cardiac symptoms in women are more subtle than in men. This is another reason why ultrafast CTs of the heart are so valuable. For $49 at any St. Lukes imaging center, how can you go wrong?
