Combat muscle loss

Horrible news: As we age, our muscles atrophy (less sarcomere cells). The only way to combat this is to work out. Boring but we must lift weights and do band training. It is an absolute must!

Can you eat "too healthy"/

I find that a big issue is the belief that "lots of fruit is good for you". In reality, it is easy to eat too much of it (excess calories and can cause a high blood sugar in diabetics)... Also, I have seen that the belief that "you must drink lots of water" has caused an issue with patients' electrolytes (sodium). Just drink enough water to quench your thirst.

Yes! It is possible to reverse "pre-diabetes"...Of course, you know the answer. Cut out the carbohydrates; drop the weight; exercise. All pretty basic.

Pain relievers

Both acetaminophen and ibuprofen are effective pain relievers.
Acetaminophen is safer, though, for it doesn't upset the stomach, has no kidney issues and hasn't been associated with any cardiac risks.
