Stress might be a more important risk factor of heart disease than hypertension, high cholesterol, smoking, diabetes or family history!
Chronic stress is associated with excessive inflammation in the coronary arteries. Exercise, good sleep habits and a conscious effort to decrease life's stressors will help in preventing a heart attack.
