My 2026 start for my Layups and Literacy Program was a terrific success. I want to particularly thank Carrie Sgarlata for conducting the literacy component. She as usual did a fantastic job of engaging the participants and stressing the fun and IMPORTANCE of literacy. I also want to thank my son Harry and daughter Julie for being instrumental in helping organize this event. I also want to thank the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation, Bango, The Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization, the Silverspring Neighborhood Center, Coach Carvius Williams, Marcus Johnson, Ersan Ilyasova, Jim Paschke and Rhyan Hoover. Moving forward, I will be conducting the literacy aspect of Layups and Literacy every Wednesday at 5:00 pm at the Silverspring Neighborhood Center with Coach Williams following with the basketball aspect. Feel free to visit. This is our 6th year and we expect continued achievement in assisting today's youths.
