Don't ignore your colon screening!

Colon cancer: a scary proposition. Unfortunately the incidence of colon cancer is increasing in younger age groups. Previously the recommendations for an initial screening colonoscopy was at age 50. The recommendation now is at age 45. There is also discussion that this might change to the age of 40. Heed these recommendations! If you are totally adverse to a colonoscopy, the Cologuard test is a more than reasonable option.
